At the Jack and Jill Nursery School, we provide excellent care for children ages 18 months through 5 years of age.  We recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary.  The Nursery School was opened in 1959 by Helen Minner Jones and Sunday School teachers from the First United Methodist Church.  This connection between the church and the nursery school has remained over these many years.

We provide a loving and nurturing environment for our children, as well as preparing our children for Kindergarten with the Creative Classroom Curriculum and age appropriate academics.  We also provide breakfast, lunch and snacks for our children each day.

Our children are exposed to a variety of programs including programs from Police Officers, Firemen, a Magician, Music programs, special art projects, visiting teachers and readers.  We have several field trips per year and offer a variety of parent workshops and services for our families.

Our classrooms include two free Abbott 3 year old classes and two Non-Abbott for Toddlers up to age 5.  We are open year-round and we have a wonderful and dedicated staff who love our children.
